Genetic Engineering in Agriculture: Four Perspectives on Benefits and Hazards
Come listen to experts disucss their views on the purpose, safety, and necessity of genetically modified organisms (GMOs). Following the panel discussion will be time to ask your questions about this tough subject.
The panel will feature Oregon PSR's Campaign for Safe Foods Program Director, Rick North, Oregon State University's Associate Director of Outreach in Biotechnology David Harry, Portland State University's Professor Lisa Weasel and Oregonians for Food and Shelter's Terry Witt. The panel will be moderated by Dan Hilburn of the Oregon Department of Agriculture.
